Some of you might have noticed the slight nudge of the elevator buttons on our previous penciled page as compared to the final version. It was an editorial decision to make the flow more natural, rather than unnecessarily dynamic. On Page 4, I also requested a small correction from Trish in a single panel. Why? Well, I can tell you but where is the fun in that? Instead, for a no prize winner, you can try guessing which panel was later rendered differently. Leave your answers in the comment section. The reveal will come next week. And while we are exposing our secrets from behind the creative process of making the "Twisted Holiday Horror Tales", a shout-out goes to our fan and a Facebook follower, who wants to remain anonymous, and sent her question via messenger. No, we won't tell you who she is. (BTW, have you already Liked: Kiss Attila Writes? Every single Like is much appreciated. Please invite your friends to do the same as well. It's also the best way to be notified when we post new things). Back to our fan whose observing skills are uncanny, and for that, we salute you. Her question was: "Why is Aayushi walking in the winter without a jecket, while her Mother wears one? Is she a sadist?" I'm glad you asked. The short answer is, No! To elaborate, here is the deal. Before writing a new story, I flush out the characters thoroughly. The more comprehensive job I do before the work commence, easier it is later. If I do my job properly, the story will practically write itself. While for sure you saw few ballpoint descriptions of Aayushi on her character sheet, that information doesn't even scratch the surface of who she really is. Not by a long shot. There is much more to her, and unfortunately some aspects had to be left off. For example, she is preparing herself for an Ice-Swimming. I have a friend who did this for a while, so I know one way to train your body is to fill a bathtub with ice cubes and sit in it for a while. However, Rahmani's doesn't have the financial means to indulge this option. So, the next best thing is to walk, in cold weather home from the Mall, in a T-Shirt. There you have it. Aayushi's Ice-Swimming desire does not relate to the story, so it won't be further explained, and thus I'm sure many readers of the book will ponder upon her appearance but you, my loyal followers are in the know.
